More than 20 of the top chefs in NYC were on site for an amazing Food for Thought fundraising gala to benefit The Bronx Letters Foundation. Hosted by Eric Ripert, the chef at one of the world's top restaurants Le Bernadin and honoring the late chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain, the event featured tasty treats from the best of the best including chefs Morimoto and Gabrielle Hamilton and raised funds for a local school in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, the poorest congressional district in the country. The event was held at Chelsea Piers and fundraising activities included live and silent auctions and a “Book Station” of autographed cookbooks of the chefs on site.
